CEF CALLS ON POLITICAL PARTIES TO SET OUT THEIR PLANS TO ASSIST THE INDUSTRY

1 February 2010: In light of the growing unemployment within the construction industry the CEF has called upon each of the political parties to inform the electorate of their plans to assist the industry.
With the General Election due to take place before June 2010 this call is the first step in our campaign to position construction industry issues at the heart of the debate.
The Federation is currently preparing a ‘manifesto’ outlining why construction is an election issue and posing a series of questions to help identify each of the local political parties’ policies relating to the industry. This paper will be published in the next few weeks.
