London 2012: Find Opportunities to Grow Your Business
30 July 2010: The Federation would like to draw its member’s attention to possible job opportunities relating to the London2012 Olympic Games. In order to spread the benefits of the 2012 games across the UK the ‘London2012 Business Network’ has been launched in the form of an on-line web based service designated CompteteFor.
CompeteFor will act as a brokerage service between buyers and potential suppliers throughout the London2012 supply chain. It is expected that up to a fifth of London2012 supply chain opportunities will go through the CompeteFor system.
The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) will advertise their direct contract opportunities on-line through CompeteFor. London2012 contractors who are appointed will be encouraged to advertise their supply chain opportunities through the system.
