In today’s world of managing health and safety, risk assessments and method statements provide a cornerstone for controlling and hopefully eliminating potential accidents.

A risk assessment is carried out to enable control measures to be identified and implemented in order to reduce risk to acceptable levels.

A method statement describes a safe method of working for an identified task.


This course is aimed at those persons responsible for creating risk assessments and method statements.

We will look at ways in which both these documents can be prepared in order to take decisions on controls which are effective and efficient.

Cancellations made within 7 working days of the course/seminar start date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 5 working days are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. All cancellations must be notified to Construction Federation Services in writing. Email notifications are acceptable. A telephone message is not sufficient as a notice to cancel. Delegate substitutions are welcome. If delegates do not attend a course/seminar without giving a notice of cancellation within the appropriate timeframe, no refund will be given.
