John ArmstrongManaging Director
John has held the position of Managing Director of the Construction Employers Federation since 2006. He joined the Construction Employers Federation in 1997 with responsibility for developing construction exports. During that time he helped to develop business for Northern Irish construction companies in overseas markets. In 2014 and 2015, John chaired the Housing Supply Forum established by the Minister at the Department for Social Development. He is a Council Member of the Construction Group and a Member of the NI Committee of the National House Building Council.
David FryAssistant Director
David joined the CEF in July 2015 and has responsibility for the General and Civil Engineering Committees as well as the Private and Social Housing Committees. In addition, he looks after the Federation’s public affairs and public relations activities, membership and recruitment, the Construction Excellence Awards, environmental standards within the industry, including NVIR-O-CERT, and the courses and seminars programme.
Jonathan CaugheyFederation Manager
With the Federation since 2005, Jonathan’s main areas of responsibility include the Construction Skills Register, Health and Safety within the industry, the management of the Safe-T-Cert and Building Guarantee Schemes and the industry’s liaison with Trade Unions through the Joint Council.
