Construction Related Training
Date: 12th April 2018 | Time: 9.30am – 11.30am

Competition law affects all businesses in Northern Ireland. It is essential that you understand how competition law will impact upon your business, the consequences of getting it wrong and most importantly how you can ensure compliance with the law.

This seminar will address the key provisions of competition law, including anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominant market position. It will consider the consequences of breach of competition law, such substantial fines and imprisonment. In doing this it will look at recent examples of breaches of competition law.

The seminar will outline what is deemed to be a cartel, as well as providing practical tips to ensure compliance. This will include advice in respect of interaction with your competitors.

We have also invited Robert Stewart from the Competition and Markets Authority (the UK's competition regulatory body) to give you a short insight into the role of the CMA, its aims and the work it is currently carrying out.
