Public Appointment Vacancy - Appointment of 12 new members to the Board of the Construction Industry Training Board Northern Ireland (CITB NI) - Closing date Friday 17 September 2021.
DfE will be advertising an open competition to recruit 12 new members to the Board of the Construction Industry Training Board Northern Ireland on 26 & 27 August 2021 in the three main local papers. There are 5 employer, 5 employee and 2 educational member posts. The process involves an application form and interview process. Appointments are made on merit and applications are welcome from all sections of society.
The appointments will be made in tranches between December 2021 and June 2022 and the posts attract remuneration of £77.50 for under 4 hours per day and £155.00 for over 4 hours per day. The CITB (NI) Board normally meets six times a year and as a member you will be expected to participate in sub-committees and attend events. The estimated total time commitment is approximately 15 days per year.
It is important that people from a wide range of backgrounds take up public appointments so that the Boards of public bodies reflect the rich diversity of our society and better understand the needs of the communities they serve.
