Apply for audit

Ready to be audited? Follow these simple steps.

Similar to registration, applying for audit is really straightforward. Complete the audit application form (available below), confirm your turnover and return to the scheme with payment.

Before you apply for audit there are a few criteria you must meet:

• you must make sure that you have registered with Safe-T-Cert. If you haven't done that the process is explained here
• a registered company is required to apply for audit within nine months of registration or they will have to register again 
• before applying for audit you should also ensure that your health and safety management system is ready to be audited and you can demonstrate at least three months evidence of operation. 

On receipt of the Audit Application, the Scheme will appoint an auditor from its IOSH approved auditor panel to conduct the audit. The appointed auditor will contact you directly to arrange a suitable date for audit.
