Auditor Profiles
Meet our team of highly qualified and experienced auditors.
Safe-T-Cert prides itself on the quality of the auditors engaged by the scheme.
All auditors must be Chartered Members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), some are even Chartered Fellows of IOSH. This means they are all health and safety experts.
All auditors also have to be registered with and approved by IRCA- the International Register of Certificated Auditors so they are professional auditors too. Both organisations require Continual Professional Development (CPD) so they are constantly working to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.
Safe-T-Cert auditors must have construction experience so they know what they are talking about from a construction perspective too. This means they can add value rather than the audit just being a tick box exercise.
Charlie Hutchison

Charlie started his career as an engineer before becoming Group Safety & Quality Manager for two large construction companies. He has run his own health and safety consultancy and training company since 2002 and has been awarded a MBE for services to Health and Safety.
Bill Gundry

Bill has over 30 years health and safety experience including time as Group Health and Safety Manager with a large construction firm. He has worked as a health and safety adviser for an English Local Authority and carried out insurance liability audits and surveys for insurance companies. Bill runs his own health and safety consultancy and delivers health and safety training.
John Logue

John is a Chartered Civil Engineer working initially with a large NI and then national contractor. He worked for CITB, the University of Ulster and North West Regional College as a senior lecturer. John also runs his own health and safety consultancy.
Pamela Logue

Pamela has been involved in occupational health and safety across a broad spectrum of industries, predominantly the construction industry. She previously ran her own construction health and safety consultancy and training company.
Richard McIvor

Richard has experience in the construction and heavy engineering sector as well as being involved with various management systems as an auditee, auditor, technical expert & technical assessor. He is a Past Chairman of IOSH NI, IOSH Council Member & Co-founder of the Workplace Health Leadership Group (NI). Experience has been gained nationally and internationally across a range of industries, including the completion of certification and assessment works for public and private sector clients.
