List of currently available NVQs

With the deadline for CSR card holders to achieve an NVQ or equivalent to be able to renew their card fast approaching, CSR has published a list of providers and the NVQ qualifications that they currently provide to assist cardholders.

From 31 December 2024, all skilled CSR card holders and above are required to have an NVQ or equivalent relevant to the job role they currently carry out. More information on the changes are included in the Industry Accreditation section of the website. Please note, Labourer cards are not impacted by the changes.

It is important to remember that for experienced workers, gaining an NVQ qualification does not involve the candidate learning how to do their job or going back to school/college. It involves candidates demonstrating what they do on a day to day basis against a National Standard. This can be done in various ways including on site assessment and professional discussion. The training organisation selected to deliver the qualification will be able to explain the exact requirements for each qualification in more detail.

The list is not exhaustive and we would encourage training organisations not included to get in touch with CSR with details of the qualifications delivered and they can be added to the list. Cardholders and employers are encouraged to check back regularly as it is anticipated the list will be updated. The current version is Version1.
