Platinum Card - Academically Qualified Person

Completion of a recognised third level construction related degree/HND or HNC and successful completion of one of the specified manager or senior manager health and safety training courses, applicable to the level at which the applicant operates within their organisation. (see below).  If you are unsure that your academic qualification will be accepted, please email a copy to [email protected]   

Those with construction related qualifications awarded outside of the UK (Overseas), not currently recognised by CSR, should contact Enic to apply for a Statement of Comparability.

Directors/ Senior Managers

Essential Health and Safety for Senior Executives; or

IOSH Safety for Senior Executives & Directors

Managers

Either:

Essential Health and Safety for Managers (new cards);or

IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers (new cards); or

IOSH Managing Safely for Construction Managers (new cards)

Essential Health & Safety for Manager Refresher (renewals or upgrades where a manager course has been completed previously); or

IOSH Managing Safely for Construction Managers Refresher (renewals or upgrades where a manager course has been completed previously)

AQP Card Application

Platinum Card - Professionally Qualified Person

Hold Full/Chartered membership of one of the following professional qualifications.  (please note this is not an exhaustive list.  To check if your professional member is accepted, please email current evidence to [email protected])

• MCIAT Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists
• MCIOB Member of the Chartered Institute of Building
• MICE Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers
• MIHE Member of the Institute of Highway  Engineers
• MRICS Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
• MIStructE Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers
• MCIstCES Member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors
• MIEI Member of Engineers Ireland
• MCIBSE Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers
• MIWFM  Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management

PQP Card Application

Gold Card - Health & Safety Practitioner

Completion of the NEBOSH Certificate (General or Construction), or NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ6 in Occupational Health and Safety, and IOSH Membership (Minimum Technician Member) or IIRSM Membership (Minimum Associate Member Participating in a CPD programme), and Confirmation by way of an employer declaration of 2 years experience in a health and safety role in the construction industry

Renewal Requirement 

Evidence of IOSH Membership (Minimum Technician Member) or IIRSM Membership (Minimum Associate Member Participating in a CPD programme)

CSR H&S Practitioner Application Form

Platinum Card - Architectural Technologist

CSR stopped issuing this card in September 2017. This card was available to Architectural Technologist that completed the CSR one day health and safety course and provided evidence of full membership of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.

Expiring Architectural Technologists cards can be upgraded to one of the following cards:

Health & Safety Trained

Academically Qualified Person

Professionally Qualified Person

Platinum Card - Architect

CSR stopped issuing this card in September 2017. This card was available to Architects that completed the CSR one day health and safety course and provided evidence of full membership of the Royal Society or Ulster Architects (RSUA), or evidence of current registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).

Expiring Architects cards can be upgraded to one of the following cards:

Platinum Card - Chartered Surveyor

CSR stopped issuing this card in September 2017. This card was available to Chartered Surveyors that completed the CSR one day health and safety course and provided evidence of full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Expiring Chartered Surveyor cards can be upgraded to one of the following cards:

Health & Safety Trained

Academically Qualified Person

Professionally Qualified Person

Gold Card - Assistant Surveyor

CSR stopped issuing this card in September 2017. This card was available to Assistant Surveyors that completed the CSR one day health and safety course and provided evidence of probationer membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Expiring Assistant Surveyor cards can be upgraded to one of the following cards:
